bought the Hong Kong import of this DVD last year (along with Tales from Earthsea). thought it was adorable and only a matter of time before Disney brought it to the big screen. looking forward to watching this again (as the subtitles were subpar). and just waiting until the Studio Ghibli Ni no Kuni game for Nintendo DS hits the US (if it ever does)

‘Ponyo’ scheduled to be released in theaters on August 14th 2009.
Miyazaki ’s films are always a joy to see and an incredible visual experience as well. This is one under-the-radar film I hope people don’t miss out on.
